Trees in Shinto shrines are called Go-Shin-boku(Sacred tree of gods).
These main roles are "Barrier/protection of shrine" and "Yorishiro".
Yorishiro means "Spiritual possession phenomenon".
It is a basic word of Japanese nature worship, Shinto.
Many wandering and suffering spirits is gathering under trees
and the spirits are healed and delivered to each appropriate place by tree's upright energy.
Do not touch trees in Japanese shrines or around shrines.
Some ignorant Japanese lose their luck by touching sacred trees.
Night visiting shrine is worse. Even sunset time.
To tell the truth, any tree has almost the same role as Go-shin-boku.
Do not touch or pass through under trees at a park after dark.
And be careful if a big tree was cut in your neighborhood.
Maybe the tree has been doing spiritual purification of your area.
Going out at night is getting more dangerous because of collapse of Yuu-Kai.
In addition, be careful if you visit water place.
Riverside, beach, pond and swamp...
Wandering spirits want to drink water but they can't because the water is not given for them.
They just gathering around the water places.
Other taboo, spiritual flowers and trees.
Generally speaking, flowers in other worlds are more colorful and brighter than the Earth's.
Cluster amaryllis is a flower of a low level world after life.
Red one is a striking color in the gloomy dark world.
Don't pick up them. Don't touch them.
Japanese are prohibited to use this flower for grave and Butsudan (Memorial ritual table for ancestor).
Each the flower has a face of suffering spirit who can't go anywhere.
Never plant this flower in your garden.
Interior use will be a black magic for your family's health.
White lily is no problem but it is difficult for interior use too.

Japanese dedicate white lily to grave or Butsudan in home.
Orange tiger lily is strong energy flower of hell.
Stronger than cluster amaryllis.
This is a dangerous taboo flower. Never touch it.

If your kids touched or pulled above two kinds of flowers out,
you and your kids have to put flowers back to its original place.

If you find these flowers in your garden, don't touch them while they are blooming.
Pull them out from its bulb in winter season.
Hydrangea, lotus flower and queen of the night are also spiritual flowers.
Trees that produce fruits or nuts are not good for private garden.
Because the trees absorb power of family member.
If you have fruit/nus trees in your garden, please eat produces to recover the power.
Especially, persimmon tree and Loquat tree have sad atmosphere.
Eating fruits is no problem but cutting, climbing or touching tree is not good.
