Survaival / Japanese Earthquake / January 17

Emergency goods flashlight lighter

January 17.
20 years ago today in Japan,
there was the Big Hanshin Earthquake in Kobe.

It occurred in 5:46 am(early morning) ,and chilly winter day.
6,434 people died.
Most people died under their crashed house.
I mean they were in their bed.
They couldn't move in heavy earthquake.
But other people survived in terrible situation.

Please keep some emergency goods in your house,car,backpack...everywhere.
There are so many emergency goods. Please select.
I wrote about it before. Please refer to this post.

I think most important things to carry are high calory foods, water, and fire lighter or flashlight.
Please keep them in your backpack.

And family's disaster drill is also needed.
For example,me and my husband have agreements.

"Don't seek around each other in serious situation."
"Just stay in secure place if you reach there. Let's meet later"

Can you survive in this chilly winter season without preparation?
Especially,If you have children, old parents,or cute pets.
