I live in America now.
Many American people have strong patriotic sentiments.
But they don't understand about what the country is.
Nation is land.Country is ground on the Earth.
I am sad because they insult land with garbage.
I think they love American national flag only.
But they can't live on the flag.
People live on the land of nation.
Many people love nature.But they love the nature just for relax.
No respect.
If you dedicate gratitude heart to nature,nature gods will be happy.
It is true.
Our Earth is always listening our feelings.
Because the Earth is huge higher organism.
There is a big difference between just enjoying nature and dedicating heart to the nature.
Just enjoying nature is one way street to gradual decline.
Dedicating heart to the nature is great cycle of the Earth.
Nature gods use dedicated thank heart to protect nature.
And we dedicate thanks again.
This circulation is Shinto.
Japanese people cherish local nature gods.
In Japan,ISE Jingu(Grand shrine of ISE) is top of the shrine.
ISE jingu protects whole Japan.
There are more than 85,000 shrines all over Japan.
These shrines protects each region or area.
And countless Kamidana shelves in each homes protects the neighborhood.

Shrines and Kamidana are relay points for nature gods.
Nature gods patrol neighborhood,
Nature → Shrine → Kamidana
They get power from thankful heart in each shrine and kamidana,
and they guard the area instead.
It is good if you dedicate thankful heart to wild nature.
But shrine place can gather thankful heart power
Gathered power is convenient for nature gods.
That's why we have shrines all over Japan.
I am living in USA now.
So I cherish American land as first priority.
I never forget great benefits from American land that was protected by Native American people.
If I return to Japan, I cherish the nearest shrine from my home.
The nearest shrine's nature gods is called Ujigami.
American Ujigami are always protect your neighborhood without warm heart from human.
Please think about it.
We live on the land.Not on the flag.
We can't live without earth and sun.
Substitutes do not exist.
Japanese national flag and anthem are expressing the sun.
The eternal continuation of the sun.
Humans are standing between the sun and the land.
We are standing like pillars.
Japanese people also love this song Daichi-sanshou.
Everyone knows this song in Japan.
Daichi means land/nation
Sanshou means anthem/praise
Japanese junior high school and high school students sing this song
in the graduation ceremony.
Not only in graduation ceremony,but also choral competitions.
